/ The Problem

Health publishers owned the answer

When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity "does hard water cause hair fall?" or "best shower filter for hard water in India," the AI's answer decides which brand gets bought. Care Dale had a genuinely differentiated product (India's first & only clinically-tested shower filter, backed by a 50-participant study and IIT-Kharagpur founders), but at our April baseline it was visible on just 9 of 30 prompts, tied #2 among competitors behind RiverSoft, with those high-intent buyers being sent to Healthline, RiverSoft and generic listicles instead.

"At the April baseline, the three highest-volume queries, including 'best shower filter for hard water in India' (8,100 searches/mo) and 'does hard water cause hair fall', showed zero Care Dale visibility on every platform. ChatGPT mentioned the brand once, with no link. caredale.in ranked #9 among all cited domains."

"Working with the Unveilr AI team has been great. They care about our SEO/GEO performance as much as we do, and our organic impressions have been growing since we started working with them. The team is quite proactive, and what we appreciate the most is that we don't have to chase them for things. They flag areas where performance is weak and get to work on them themselves. With them, we know that our SEO & GEO are in good hands."

/ Our Approach

SEO and GEO, run together

We tracked 38 real buyer prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok and Perplexity, then built content designed to be cited, leaning on Care Dale's clinical study and dermatologist credibility, the exact signals AI engines trust. Every gap was monitored, and weak spots were fixed before the client had to ask.

Step 1

SEO + AEO Audit

Fixed technical debt and entity drift so both Google and AI crawlers could correctly attribute the brand and its clinical claims.

Step 2

Prompt Tracking

Mapped 38 high-intent prompts across 4 AI engines, from "best shower filter for borewell water" to "does hard water cause hair fall", and baselined exactly where Care Dale was absent.

Step 3

Proof-Led Content

Published clinically-backed articles built around Care Dale's 78% hair-fall study and dermatologist certification, the trust signals AI engines cite over generic blogs.

Step 4

Gap Recovery

Targeted the prompts owned by Healthline and competitors, winning back 7 former gaps and recovering 2 slipped queries in a single cycle.

Step 5

Daily Monitoring

Visibility, citations and sentiment tracked continuously. When a prompt slipped, content was refreshed proactively, with no chasing required.

Step 6

Search + AI Compounding

The same content that won AI citations also lifted Google rankings, turning one content engine into two acquisition channels.

/ Results: AI Visibility

From 30% to 76% of buyer prompts

Care Dale is now mentioned on 29 of 38 tracked prompts (76%), up from 30% at the April baseline. The breakthrough was ChatGPT, going from a single unlinked brand query to 17 category prompts, now linking the site on 16 of them.

The most-cited domain in the category

/ The Takeaway

Clinical proof is a moat on both surfaces.

Care Dale's real differentiator, an independent clinical study no competitor has, was invisible until it was structured the way AI engines cite. Once it was, the brand overtook health publishers and every rival in its category. AI visibility isn't a brand-size problem; it's a content-and-structure problem.

Two channels from one engine

The content that won AI citations also lifted Google rankings, turning a single content investment into two compounding acquisition channels. AI visibility rewards consistent presence: every week without it is answer-share handed to a competitor or a publisher.
